Freightgate has developed a new business-intelligence module for its cloud-based Logistics Solution Suite. The new features allow for multi-tiered analysis and integration of online data into dynamically generated spreadsheet templates. Users can orchestrate different report results on the same or multiple sheets, and transfer dynamic constraints directly from the search form. The tool further allows for the pass-through of results data into secondary report calls. Processes supported by the new technology include historical carrier freight-rate tracking and trend analysis by user-defined parameters, key performance indicator tracking by projected goals versus actual achieved, and quotation tracking by user for trend analysis. Freightgate offers tools for supply-chain collaboration and visibility, tender management, routing, service contract and quote management, regulatory compliance, automated invoice audit and payment, on-line sailing schedules and "what-if" scenario analysis.
