Oracle Corp. has released version 6.1 of its Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Process application. The update includes a new product lifecycle analytics module, user interface and enhanced productivity features. The analytics module encompasses integrated performance management and operational analytics and reporting, with pre-configured industry dashboards. An intuitive user interface includes Web 2.0 usability features, role-based views and "smart" navigation. New application programming interfaces (APIs), touchpoints and extensibility features allow Oracle customers and partners to extend the value of their PLM investments. The new release is part of Oracle's Agile PLM suite of applications, helping users to manage information, processes and decisions about products throughout their lifecycles and across the global product network.
