DB Schenker Logistics is adding routes to its air-freight service between Europe and North America. The logistics services division of Deutsche Bahn is now offering freight flights from Luxemburg to Toronto and Chicago and back. A new Atlanta and Houston route is also being served from Luxemburg. DB Schenker offers door-to-door service, with pre-carriage and onward carriage through its integrated networks, via the company's European hub in Luxemburg and network in North America. Flights depart every Sunday from Luxemburg to Toronto and Chicago, and every Wednesday and Saturday to Atlanta and Houston. The provider is using fuel-efficient Boeing 777Fs. Last year, DB Schenker Logistics introduced a direct air-freight connection between Amsterdam and Chicago, departing each Wednesday and Saturday. DB Schenker offers some 1,000 direct and charter flights per year.
