Oracle Corp. has released version 9.1 of its JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools application. The suite of infrastructure tools was designed to optimize installation, updates and management of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications. The latest release features an updated user interface and additional reporting and management capabilities. The user interface now includes a configurable home page, new menu options and updated process maps. Advanced end-user query capabilities improve users' access to data needed for making business decisions. They can quickly view the status and output of reports by way of a drop-down menu. New management options enable administrators to define memory-usage thresholds and alerts to fix "runaway" processes. Also included in the new release are disaster-recovery enhancements, which increase the resiliency of business services and transaction servers. Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is an integrated applications suite of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, with full support on the iPad.
