CMA CGM is partnering with OOCL on its ANZEX container service in the New Zealand-to-Far East trade. ANZEX offers direct calls at four New Zealand ports and two South Island ports. The service will discontinue calling Port Kelang, Malaysia northbound, shortening transit time between New Zealand and China by seven days. Other Asian destinations will be relayed via the Hong Kong and Chiwan hubs. On the southbound loop, the service will make calls in Noumea, New Caledonia and Suva, Fiji. CMA CGM has also reorganized its Asia-North Europe services, following the announcement of a partnership with MSC. The carriers' Asia North Europe network will be covered by nine loops. CMA CGM will operate 28 vessels, all within the 9,500 to 14,000 twenty-foot-equivalent-unit range, under the various services.
