Syncron International AB has developed a new version of its Syncron Global Price Management application for service parts. The tool features price-dampening functionality, which allows for structural price changes in steps over a set of price revisions. Users can apply major price changes to their marketing and sales channels, the vendor said. Price dampening enables large changes to be applied incrementally, rather than as a one-off event that can violate contractual agreements and negatively impact customer and distributor relationships. Syncron Global Price Management supports each step of the parts-pricing process, with a defined framework for price-setting, execution, communication and analysis. The application includes key performance indicators and reporting functionality, multiple price list management, and multiple currency capabilities. Syncron focuses on serving manufacturing and distribution companies.
