Oracle Corp. has added mobile applications to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for mid-sized companies. New features include Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Mobile Requisition Self Service Approval, Purchase Order Approval and Sales Inquiry. The applications provide customers with real-time visibility into sales orders, item availability and item-based pricing. They can review and approve requisition self-service orders and purchase orders on their mobile devices. Mobile Requisition Self Service Approval provides real-time transaction processing for the review, approval or rejection of requisitions. Purchase Order Approval enables mobile workers to review and approve purchase orders, regardless of physical location. Sales Inquiry gives sales representatives, service technicians and managers access to sales orders, item availability and item-based price on demand.
