The Infodis application, delivered in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode, is designed to meet European logistics requirements, including CO2 emissions calculations. It manages both inbound and outbound purchased transportation for more than 5 million shipments to and from Europe per year. The acquisition will connect more than 200 carriers in Europe and Asia, along with leading high-tech companies, to Descartes' Logistics Technology Platform. The offering links a total of more than 35,000 trading partners. The all-cash purchase price of the deal was approximately $3.7m.
