The update extends the latest technology in truck-specific, turn-by-turn guidance and routing to iPhones, iPads and Android-powered smartphones and tablets. Features include a new driver-friendly user interface, choice of up to three alternative routes, ability to drag a route to customize a preferred route, and a major roads preview. CoPilot Truck also offers RouteSync functionality for in-vehicle consistency with standard PC-Miler routing and mileage used for dispatch, billing, driver pay, fuel tax reporting, rating and costing. The device stores the latest street-level ALK Maps of North America for offline use. It also includes PC-Miler routing and truck-specific attributes. Existing CoPilot Truck version 8 customers will be able to upgrade to the new version for free.
