SciQuest is a provider of procurement and settlement tools for supply chains. Upside's product suite includes collaborative contract creation and negotiation technology, as well as tools for managing supplier performance, compliance and deliverables, and monitoring ongoing events. The offering includes security and business-intelligence features. Purchase price of the company was $22m in cash. The deal will help SciQuest to round out its purchasing lifecycle management suite, the company said.
