According to Newgistics, the deal increases the range of services it offers to e-tailers, direct-to-consumer merchants and branded merchandisers. Newgistics specializes in services for retail as well as other industries. Last year, it added 45 employees at its Austin, TX headquarters, and its currently expanding office space there to accommodate projected growth in 2012 and beyond.
