DeltaTRAK TempDot Plus labels were designed to provide positive indication that the label has been activated and is in the "on" condition. The labels also provide individual label serial numbers for traceability. They monitor the cumulative amount of time the labels are exposed to temperatures above their threshold. When a temperature excursion occurs, a blue dye melts and progresses through a window with clearly indicated time markers. When the temperature returns below the threshold level, the dye solidifies and stops moving. In another company announcement, DeltaTRAK has introduced the FlashTRAK RFID (radio frequency identification) Temperature Monitoring Solution. It integrates FlashTRAK RFID loggers with the existing ColdTRAK cloud application. The product draws on up-to-date RFID technology and supports EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 FlashTRAK loggers. Temperature data from the logger is read using the vendor's WAN/Ethernet multi-protocol 3G RFID readers. They are typically mounted in the receiving area, but can also be placed inside vehicles to provide real-time temperature information during transit.
