DHL GOGREEN Carbon Estimate is a forecast service which provides customers with one estimate of their carbon dioxide footprint for their most recent three-month period, based on global average carbon-emission factors. The information can be used as a baseline for data-management and forecasting. GOGREEN Carbon Footprint provides details of customers' actual CO2 footprint emissions at trade lane, product, transport mode, account and shipment level for a calendar year. The tool's calculation methodology and processes are verified by the independent, Swiss-based Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS), in accordance with the principles of the ISO 14064 standard. The new reporting services complement DHL's GOGREEN Carbon Neutral service, which allows customers to offset CO2 emissions for their DHL shipments. DHL Express offers the three GOGREEN services in more than 50 countries.
