The extension is part of the IFS Applications suite of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. It manages compliance with multiple regulatory regimes, including ITAR, EAR and U.K. Export Controls. The customizable system allows suppliers with multi-site operations in different geographies to create an integrated database of export products and regulations. Exporters of military or dual-use items can enter data relating to product developments, current licenses and trade regulations. Export Control automatically flags potential breaches of regulations, issuing a series of alerts to warn of non-compliance issues. IFS targets industries built around the core processes of service and asset management, manufacturing, supply chain and projects.
