The changes provide new functionality for customers running the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. OneSCM offers flexible deployment and integration options to support cloud and on-premise, Java and .NET architectures. Among the enhancements is an expansion of demand-collaboration functionality, with greater visibility and control over long-term materials requirements. Planners, buyers and suppliers can collaborate on a broader level to address potential delays in availability on a proactive basis, and ensure that customer requirements are met. In addition, TAKE has expanded its vendor-managed inventory (VMI) functionality. According to the company, users can better manage multiple external depots via graphical forecast time windows, which allow for the proactive resolution of potential shortages. In another company development, TAKE Solutions Ltd. has formed a life sciences business, to help customers respond to new demands of regulators and increase business performance. The unit brings together TAKE's Indian life sciences activities, its U.S. operations, and CRO Applied Clinical Intelligence and WCI Consulting. The team will have a presence in the U.S., Europe, U.K. and India.
