The unified company will retain the 3Gtms name and be headed up by 3Gtms chief executive officer Mitch Weseley. With 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, he is the founder of TMS software provider Weseley Software Development Corp., which was later sold to McHugh Software International, as well as G-Log, now part of Oracle Corp. The newly combined company is focusing on mid-market shippers, carriers and third-party logistics providers. 3Gtms's own suite of software includes a brokerage system, stand-alone rating utility and support for less-than-truckload (LTL) tariffs. More modules will be added over the next few years, the company said.
