Its Smart Autonomous Asset Solution combines the vendor's Trade Data Exchange Network (TDEN) and Smart Autonomous Asset Network (SAAN) with its Globe Tracker Communications Unit. The result is a single product for tracking, monitoring and sharing trade data. TDEN allows supply-chain partners to securely share data from their private databases, behind their security firewalls. SAAN tracks and monitors assets in order to improve utilization, in addition to providing asset owners with real-time data that can be shared with supply-chain partners. Globe Tracker aids in safeguarding secure, end-to-end cold chains, the company said. A Globe Tracker Communications Unit is permanently installed on the asset, providing tracking and monitoring of equipment such as truck trailers, drybulk and reefer containers, and railcars.
