The indoor-positioning platform allows customers to add the capability to their mobile services. It offers support for iOS and Android platforms. NAO Cloud's fusion engine adapts to all environments, Pole Star claimed, and in certain conditions can compute the user position in areas where there is neither Wi-Fi nor Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons, through the use of smart fusion of motion sensors within the mobile devices. The tool offers access to customizable indoor location analytics by venue. In collecting smartphone user data on site, and drawing on "blind" crowd-sourcing capability, NAO Cloud eliminates the need for map preparation and site measurement. Pole Star's customer portfolio includes airports, malls, department stores, convention centers and museums. The new product was introduced at the Mobile World Congress.
