The new tool, an extension of the E2open Business Network, offers cross-network prescriptive analytics for decision support. It draws on integrated data, processes and analysis across the trading network for continuous monitoring, earlier detection and faster resolution of supply-chain disruptions, the company said. Rapid Resolutions combines with E2 Process Management, which identifies exceptions across the network, performing "single-sweep" operations to measure the scope and impact of any disruptions. Algorithms calculate operational and financial tradeoffs, and present resolution alternatives that are scored to user-defined and weighted priorities. Considerations include customer-service levels, cost to serve, alternative sources of supply, and shipping mode and lane options. Through a Demand/Supply Workbench, users can generate multidimensional commit plans. A Replenishment Workbench enables them to synchronize the distribution of finished goods from suppliers to distributors and customers.
