Customers can now access Logility Voyager applications via a software-as-a-service (SaaS), hosted or on-premise deployment model. SaaS creates a subscription-based service managed and maintained by Logility. The hosted operation combines the vendor's managed-services expertise with a dedicated, customer-owned hardware platform in Logility's hosting center. The on-premises model involves the traditional deployment of Voyager software at the customer site. In another company announcement, Logility has enabled improved integration between supply-chain management (SCM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Through an arrangement with AdapChain, a certified SAP integration partner, Logility is offering a template-based approach which allows integrations to be completed within 30 to 60 days, the vendor claimed. Separating the integration component from underlying ERP and SCM technologies eliminates the need to specify, develop, test and debug new components, Logility said. The templates contain detailed mappings of associated processing logic, creating a comprehensive framework for integration.
