The product provides in-transit visibility as well as instant access to proof-of-delivery documents for processing and billing. With Load Track, no in-cab tracking system or software installation is needed. The technology is integrated with Transflo Mobile, a smartphone app for document scanning. The tool allows carriers and brokers to know where their shipments are, as well as receive signed documents immediately upon delivery. The driver needs only an iPhone or Android smartphone or tablet, along with the free Transflo Mobile and Trucker and Tools App, which includes Transflo Load Track. When the driver accepts a shipment from a participating broker or carrier, the relevant shipping information downloads to the driver's smartphone. No data entry is needed, the vendor said. From that point, Load Track knows the location and status of the shipment, displaying the information on a map. Upon delivery, Load Track automatically launches Transflo Mobile, prompting the driver to use the smartphone to scan the signed delivery receipt and any other required documents. The images are sent instantly to the carrier or freight broker for processing and billing.
