As of Oct. 1, Schenker of Canada will have a significantly increased presence in the air-cargo sector within Canada. New Air Fleet Network services include earlier arrivals and later departures in each city currently being serviced, and the addition of a dedicated aircraft for the Schenker hub in Vancouver, B.C. The improvements will affect services to and from the U.S. as well as within Canada, Schenker said. It will offer increased capacity in Alberta, with more inbound and outbound positions; an improvement in Saskatchewan transits by one day point; earlier daily arrivals, between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., in eastern Canada, with same-night delivery to western Canada; and an enhanced Toronto service, with added overnight access to western Canada. Schenker of Canada has a presence at all major harbors, airports and border crossings in the country.
