Cadec Global has joined with TMW Systems, Inc. to offer an integrated system for tracking and improving truck fleet and dispatch productivity. Cadec is a provider of fleet-management systems that measure driver performance, monitor safety and compliance, optimize fuel consumption and accelerate delivery times. TMW offers a range of software designed for the trucking industry. Its products allow users to integrate real-time data from each facet of their operations into a single system to maximize operating efficiency. According to the partners, the integrated TMW/Cadec offering will allow customers to obtain real-time status of each truck, driver and delivery; turn trucks around faster with real-time dispatch information, and optimize the load in each truck for maximum revenue per vehicle. Cadec offers an open and extensible platform for fleet management, based on hosted software and a service-oriented architecture (SOA). As new versions of TMWSuite are released, Cadec clients can easily adjust to updates, the companies said.
