PowerVue is offered by Cadec under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. Originally launched in 2009 for Cadec's Mobius platform, DeliveryTrack runs on rugged, mobile handheld units. Drivers can use them to scan product and capture signatures at the point of delivery. Data from the handheld is synched with the Cadec On-Board Computer (OBC) in real time, and signed invoices can be printed on an optional mobile printer. Details such as over, short and damaged stock; other inventory changes; electronic signatures and copies of invoices are sent from the OBC to the office for integration with billing, inventory and enterprise resource planning systems. The result, said Cadec, is a paperless delivery environment with no single point of failure.
