They can scan, log and update order information via mobile devices, connecting all partners in the supply chain. Users can now receive estimated time-of-arrival (ETA) notifications, kept current by real-time traffic data and global positioning system (GPS) technology. Airclic recently announced the availability of Perform for Route Optimization and Planning, which manages vehicle logistics across multiple truck types, geographic areas, load types and specialist logistics processes.
