The two companies are currently finalizing plans for the cooperation, focusing on business-to-business cargo deliveries with a 12- to 72-hour timeframe. Based in Beijing, China Air Express Co. was established in 1996 as a courier company, with a national network covering cities throughout China. It operates six distribution centers, in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xian and Shenyang. The first three cities serve as regional gateways. China Air Express provides a variety of time-definite services, including express courier, charter flights, packing, warehousing, logistics, bonded trucks and the transportation of dangerous goods and live animals. U-Freight said the deal extends its network in most of China's key trade gateways.
