The new interface gives users the ability to organize their screens with customizable ribbon bars, context-sensitive grid control, and personal "Favorites" lists. For distributors and dealers with multiple locations, Epicor has added tools to better coordinate and optimize the movement of inventory between branches. In another recent company announcement, Epicor has introduced new electronic catalog, point-of-sale, accounting and related features in Epicor Eagle for the Aftermarket. The tool is aimed at single- and multi-store automotive parts businesses. The update includes the latest Epicor LaserCat 3 automotive eCatalog interface, which features two new optional search tools related to original equipment (OE) parts. The Epicor OE for Parts Not Found feature allows users to identity the OE part number for automotive applications, where no equivalent aftermarket part is available through the distributor's normal suppliers.
