Robert Benson, founder and managing principal of Spinnaker, said the firm is "moving aggressively to provide a full array of supply chain services with a deep bench of experienced industry talent that utilizes a "˜state-of-the-art' and proven holistic solution approach to better serve our clients." In particular, the firm said, the acquisition will enhance Spinnaker's current advisory practice on the implementation of supply-chain and planning software from JDA Software Group, Inc. and SAP AG. The deal includes a strategic group known as Pros2plan, which helps clients to address staffing needs. Spinnaker also provides fitness-assessment road maps, systems optimization and centers-of-excellence development.
