Other partners in the pact include Emirates Shipping Line, Hamburg Süd and Regional Container Lines. Together they will operate 18 vessels with total capacity of about 17,500 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) on the three services. The enhanced network will allow the group to offer three weekly sailings covering Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, instead of the one weekly sailing that is current offered by each line. In addition, the agreement will provide more frequent sailings between Asia's major hubs, while allowing the CMA CGM Group to offer faster transit times with more flexible service options.
