In addition, PeopleNet is drawing on its parent and sister companies' lone-worker, mapping and navigation technologies, to speed up development of new products for energy-service fleets. The new mapping and navigation services are based on detailed maps of private and leased oilfield roads. The Oil and Gap Map Portalis is a Web-based application used by back-office dispatch personnel to manage the navigation needs of vehicles. It includes reporting, dashboards and scorecards to help manage compliance with road-usage agreements between producers and landowners. CoPilot Oil and Gas Navigation is an in-cab application that uses oil and gas field mapping for providing turn-by-turn directions to the driver. Location data, including wells, is installed in the device and is accessible in the points-of-interest menu.
