The update includes a new supply-chain simulation model known as Insight Scorekeeper. It allows for the simulation of complete supply-chain operations, including procurement, manufacturing, and finished-goods distribution at a daily level of detail. Other features include the ability to process individual customer orders at the ship-to-customer and line-item levels of detail, as well as options for customer order prioritization, order processing, shipment planning and dispatch and inventory control. The tool allows for daily invocation of an optimization-based algorithm for shipping planning and dispatching.
