Fieldglass markets a vendor-management system (VMS), which helps employers to manage flexible workforces that can be quickly hired and on-boarded. SAP’s workforce-management platform also includes the procurement capabilities of Ariba and the human-resources expertise of SuccessFactors. Together the modules cover the entire process, from initial recruiting and on-boarding to development, performance management, retention and retirement. Headquartered in Chicago, Fieldglass offers a cloud-based VMS in more than 100 countries and 16 languages. SAP said it expects to complete the transaction in the second quarter of 2014, subject to regulatory and other closing conditions.
