The Lexington, Kentucky-based remanufacturing operation of Komatsu America Corporation (KAC), the largest overseas subsidiary of Japan-based Komatsu International, has selected the Kenco Group as its third-party logistics provider.
In addition to handling all of the shipping, receiving, put-away, picking and material handling for Komatsu's Lexington plant, Kenco has also been a part of the remanufacturing process by handling the core return process from Komatsu distributors.
Headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Ill., KAC is the second-largest, fully integrated manufacturer and supplier of construction equipment in North America. With manufacturing plants in Chattanooga, Tenn., Newberry, S.C., Peoria, Ill., and Candiac, Quebec, KAC's remanufacturing operations are handled out of the Lexington, Kentucky facility.
Established in the U.S. in 1970, Komatsu America Corporation manufactures and markets a full line of integrated construction equipment, including hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, crawler dozers, off-highway trucks, motor graders, skid steer loaders, tractor loaders and backhoe loaders.
