The deal creates a combined company with 11,000 customers in 23 countries. Accellos provides software applications, including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems and automated barcode data collection, to logistics service providers and mid-sized businesses. HighJump is a vendor of supply-chain management software for businesses in distribution, food and beverage, third-party logistics, retail, healthcare and consumer goods. Its products also include WMS, TMS, route-management and electronic data interchange applications. The merged company will operate under the name HighJump, and continue to use the Accellos brand for mid-market supply-chain execution technology. Accellos founder and chief executive officer Michael Cornell has been appointed CEO.
