The SL300 also includes a shatterproof Active View display, with a matrix of LEDs behind the radio housing. The case protects it from dust, water and particle buildup. Using both digital and analog radio technology, the device works with existing communication systems, while providing access to the capabilities of modern digital two-way radios, Motorola said.
