It comprises two components, Always On Connect, formerly the company’s Data Transport Utility (DTU) platform, and Always On Insight, formerly the Web Framework and Pulse platform. According to IGear, Always On reduces the time, cost and risk involved in building, deploying and supporting business applications for connected manufacturing and the industrial Internet of Things. It supports embedded, on-premise, private cloud and public cloud deployment models.
