The new tool allows manufacturers to manage requests for quotation, supplier quotes, "should-be" cost models, financial evaluations and master data. It provides real-time analytics for the purpose of improving purchasing performance, APD said. ProcureForce gives manufacturers a direct look into supplier cost structures, creating the opportunity to benchmark and optimize them. APD's offering comprises six service components: cloud software, cost engineering, training, placement and recruitment, consulting, and optimization of purchasing processes.
