The new unit offers bundled services related to auditing and quality control, as well as I.T.-based supply-chain applications. ASTRA's primary focus is on the textile industry. Hermes intends to use ASTRA to provide factory-auditing services to clients. It is accredited by WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), an independent, non-profit team of global social compliance experts. In addition to auditing, ASTRA provides quality control and I.T.-based supply-chain management services, maintaining inspection centers in such key sourcing regions as Dhaka, Shanghai, Qingdao, Bangkok, Tirupur, Mumbai, Istanbul and Izmir.
