HTL Greater China offers turnkey supply-chain services, including sea and airfreight transportation. Hermes holds a 70-percent stake in the operation, with the remaining shares held by its partner Jet Speed. Hermes opened HTL Asia in Hong Kong in 2014. The opening of HTL Greater China is a reflection of the country's position as a center of global manufacturing, the company said. The new operating unit will provide a range of services, including an expansion of support for electronic commerce, marketing to Chinese retailing clients. Pierre-Yves Guyennon is heading up the new Shanghai office. Hermes provides worldwide service and has set up country operations in the U.K., Russia, Italy and Austria.
