The initiative draws on data from the GT Nexus platform to offer suppliers access to low-cost capital. It bases funding decisions on a trading partner's performance history, instead of the buyer or supplier's credit. GT Nexus provides the legal framework and compliance engine for business-to-business commerce, to help ensure clean and compliant transactions. According to the vendor, buyers and suppliers can use the program to removal capital-related barriers that cause delays or impact customer service. Funding is provided off-balance sheet. Suppliers can obtain cash at the same rate and terms for any qualified buyer on the GT Nexus platform. Seabury TFX provides trade-finance service to supply chains around the world. It is a subsidiary of Seabury Group LLC.
