In the quarterly mobile payments index, which recorded international mobile payments use from July through September, the use of mobile for online transactions was up from 28.7 percent in the second quarter. The United Kingdom continued to lead the market with 46.9 percent of all online transactions taking place on mobile.
Other countries with strong showings include Spain and the Netherlands, which recorded 32 percent of e-commerce transactions on mobile, followed by the United States with 27 percent, Germany with 25 percent, and France with 23 percent.
