Amber Road commercialized trade content under the trade name Global Knowledge. The tool was updated in 2014 with more than 13m new records, with trade content sourced from government agencies in more than 145 countries. Global Knowledge provides the intelligence for Amber Road's GTM applications. ISO 9001:2008 is an international set of standards for quality management systems, developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The recertification progress assessed the efficiency and quality of Amber Road's Global Knowledge update process in its entirety, the company said. Its quality-management system includes a documented content-update process to track updates from the initiation stage to completion and delivery to clients. It conducts routine audits and external audits of the entire content-update process. Amber Road's Global Knowledge Update Process was first awarded the ISO certification in July, 2012.
