The unit will offer property coverage for rail, motor truck cargo and warehouses. The department draws on the technical expertise of Allianz Group's current transportation claims division and Specialty Logistics Package, the latter of which covers contingent cargo, warehouse legal liability and other specialty transportation and truck cargo needs. In addition, it will be expanded by a team of newly hired professionals located throughout North America. They will become part of the Allianz Group's Inland Marine division, which services such clients as local haulers, warehouse operations, logistics firms and large international carriers. Heading up the new division is Helen Leonard, Inland Marine Global product leader. Samuel Rizzitelli joins the company as transportation product lead.
