The offering takes freight directly from the aircraft and delivers it to forwarders' handling facilities. Cargo Connector originally was offered as an export collection service; it has now been made available for imports as well. The service is available in eight U.S. airports: San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Seattle and Houston, for shipments under 300 kilos. Outside the U.S., it is also available at IAG Cargo's U.K. hub operation at London Heathrow, and Frankfurt, Germany. The Cargo Connector import service, offered upon booking, is available Tuesday through Saturday. Freight screening can be arranged as required, IAG said.
