Aljex customers can now access the service without leaving their working Aljex pages. An online matching service, Post.Bid.Ship protects proprietary information in the bidding process. Bidders can see shipment origins and destinations, but not the names of shippers and consignees. Post.Bid.Ship prequalifies carriers, verifying their authority, insurance and safety ratings. Carriers can search the marketplace any time for loads. Trucking companies that express interest in relevant lanes are automatically notified of the load by Post.Bid.Ship. Posters can select from among multiple bids, not necessarily the lowest one. Once the selection is made, the service releases shipment information to the carrier and helps the parties to complete the transaction.
