RedTail Solutions has developed Xpress Conveyor 4.0, the new version of its electronic-trading technology for electronic data interchange (EDI) and data synchronization. In addition, the tool is now certified for use with the recent release of the 1SYNC Data Pool Solution, Item Management 6.2 (IM 6.2). Formerly UCCnet and Transora, 1SYNC is a not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to the implementation of standards-based, global supply-chain processes. It is a subsidiary of GS1 US Inc. Xpress Conveyor provides full integration to back-office applications, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Sage and SAP, via a Microsoft .Net Web services interface. It is available in a hosted model, or can be licensed to run behind the firewall, where it works in conjunction with RedTali's Enabler product to provide data synchronization with integration to SAP for larger suppliers. Data synchronization allows suppliers, distributors and retailers to introduce new products faster, while improving order accuracy and reducing discrepancies. RedTail targets mid-sized suppliers with applications built on the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
