The arrangement provides users with real-time reporting, dashboards and analytics. The Xtraction connector for Wavelink tells them where their devices are, which operating systems are running on them, and the time since the device last contacted the network. Customers can also see at a glance whether they have a surplus or deficit of devices at any given location. They also get insight into asset lifecycles, so that managers can readily see which assets are out of compliance, require updates or are due for renewal. Recently acquired by Landesk, Xtraction provides reporting and dashboards that allow I.T. organizations to connect multiple data sources into a single system.
