Along with its previously released RAIN RFID labels – the Eye wear tag, Micro, Whisper and Slim – the Compass covers the full range of health and beauty products. The ISO 18000-6C Compass is a 48mm-diameter round-shaped label, designed with the M4D integrated chip from Impinj. In another company announcement, Checkpoint has developed EVO, offering high-speed production capabilities for RFID tags and labels. EVO printing is carried out to the retailer’s specifications, and tags can be printed on both sides. It allows for the printing of lower volumes of high-quality tags. Checkpoint also announced the availability of Check-Net Mobile App, an order-tracking application for smartphones and tablets. According to the vendor, it allows retailers to quickly access account information, check-order status on the fly, and receive push notifications regarding orders. Retailers can track orders all the way through the production cycle. It supports both iPhones and Androids.
