The new offering allows suppliers and retailers to route orders using Nexternal’s online shopping options (Web, mobile and tablet) through the network to a variety of destinations, including TrueCommerce’s list of integrated enterprise resource planning software. Nexternal is a cloud-based e-commerce platform provider acquired by HighJump (which also owns TrueCommerce) in 2015. It provides access to resources available to members of the TrueCommerce community. They include integration to ERP systems from major publishers such as Intuit, Microsoft, NetSuite, Sage and SAP. According to the vendor, benefits of the integration include quicker communication across the supply chain, improved customer satisfaction, reduced I.T. complexity and ownership cost, real-time order management and drop-shipping support, and Amazon Seller Central integration.
