Dassault Systèmes Acquires Ortems for Production Scheduling
According to Dassault, the deal will extend its 3DExperience platform for manufacturing, supply chain and delivery, by reinforcing production planning and scheduling along with DELMIA Quintiq supply-chain planning and optimization capabilities. The tools can be used to plan, execute and optimize global industrial operations in manufacturing. Ortems complements Dassault’s DELMIA applications, including DELMIA Apriso, providing a single referential data model for users in digital manufacturing, operations management, and supply-chain planning and operations.
